As a foster/adoptive carer, you may have a child that is either about to go through, or is going through, puberty. Young people generally experience puberty between the ages of nine and 16. However, it is important to remember that each young person is different. Puberty is a tough time for youth but this is magnified for youth in care. Part 1 of this webinar will introduce the stages of puberty for a young girl and how those stages are affected by abuse and/or trauma experiences.
