Role Reversal: Fathers Breaking Parenting Barriers Webinar
–
December 14, 2017
The social perception of the father's role in the family and child development ranges from germane to extraneous. Over time we have come to accept socialized roles related to parenting with the mother as nurturer and the father as provider. These ascribed extrinsic and/or intrinsic roles perhaps limit deep meaningful engagement of a father to his child(ren). This webinar will provide insight into the importance of role variance, developmental stages in children, igniting the 'childlikeness' in fathers to improve the bonding experience, and the importance of a male role model in a child's life.
