Healthy Learners: Sickle Cell Disease - Webinar

The Healthy Learners Webinar Series focuses on health barriers to learning.  Sickle Cell Disease (also called "Sickle Cell Anemia") is an inherited blood disorder which is one of the most common genetic disorders in the world. This webinar will focus on how Sickle Cell Anemia may  affect school attendance and performance. At the end of the webinar, parents will have an opportunity to ask questions about the disease and its impact on school success."
