According to Dr. Moore, Father Involvement is "THE ANSWER, we've all have been waiting for!" In this workshop, Dr. Moore will explore the role of fatherhood in the adoption and foster care system. Dr. Moore will engage attendees in a critical dialogue regarding fatherlessness and its impact on child development. Dr. Moore will provide his unique clinical perspective about fatherlessness, and then will examine the unique and often complex needs of children (male and female) from a developmental, life-span perspective. In this workshop, Dr. Moore will address ways to promote father involvement within the family system, utilizing a leadership framework and will address ways fathers in the adoption and foster care system can be proactive during the child-rearing process
