    U.S. Surgeon General declared a national youth mental health crisis in December 2021. Suicide is the first leading cause of death for youth ages 10-15 and the second leading cause of death for individuals 10-24. It is timely and critical to gain a greater understanding around youth suicide, explore ways to prevent this increase in youth suicide and identify resources that support youth suicide prevention.
