July 27, 2018We live in a Trauma Impacted Society! Trauma such as School Shootings, Community Gun Violence, Abuse, Natural Disasters and more. Youth who have had a traumatic experience, 3% to 15% of girls and 1% to 6% of boys develop Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Participants will learn signs and symptoms of youth PTSD. Participants will become aware of types of trauma that can cause PTSD in youth. Participants will gain knowledge on parent struggles with youth PTSD. Participants will discover appropriate treatment for youth PTSD
