Many times, we hear the struggles a child goes through who grew up in the system (i.e. foster care, juvenile shelter, adoption homes, etc.). Sometimes, we hear of the success stories of children who went through the system with no hiccups and came out a star child. It is not often that we hear the struggles that a child may have gone through while growing up in the system and how they conquered it despite all circumstances against them that should have caused them to fail. Simone will share her dynamic story of her journey through foster/adoption care. It was not an easy road but she managed to survive and is now thriving by creating lasting purpose in giving back to a community in which she came from.

So with that being said, it is critical that foster and adoptive parents have a toolbox of skills and technique to help the children in their home. This webinar will give parents some techniques on how to provide support to a child that has been exposed and or impacted by a trauma.
